ICv2 is reporting that Anthony Gallela, the soon to be replaced head of GAMA, the Game Manufacturers Association, is behind the mysterious “Gen Con Acquisition Group.” There is still no information on who is actually putting up the money.
The article is essentially a point-for-point rebuttal to Adrian Swartout’s rejection letter. Personally, I think it is either an appeal to Ms. Swartout to reconsider the rejection or, in the alternative, it might also be a backdoor plea to the debtors and or the judge to force the sale, regardless of Gen Con’s wishes. We shall see if either is true.
